Bankside Plants  

Bankside plants constitute the most important part of pond plants. The sedge and hardy papyrus significantly enhance the aesthetic appearance of green spaces by adding color and texture. Bankside plants are capable of growing in wet and flood-prone areas. They withstand difficult conditions and are known for their ability to absorb nutrients and pollutants from the water.

Floating-leaved Plants  

Floating-leaved plants are filtering and decorative. They are installed in larger quantities of water, in deeper areas. These plants develop entirely within the water, with roots anchored in submerged soil. They are characterized by spreading their leaves on the water's surface. Sacred lotus and white water lilies will also provide shade, helping to maintain a more comfortable temperature. They cover the surface of the pond, creating a diffused light, and serve as refuge for small aquatic animals.

Submerged Plants  

These are plants that grow entirely underwater and do not emerge above the surface. They are fast-growing plants, usually planted in large baskets.
