Ethnobotanical, shamanic plant and seeds

Domains and Cultural Uses

Historically, traditional societies integrated these plants at the heart of their rites, spiritual ceremonies, and social organization.
The bond between Man and plant was not merely utilitarian, but part of a global cosmology where the plant held a central place.

Transmission and Preservation

Today, ethnobotanical study helps document these uses and better understand the intimate relationship between civilizations and their environment.
At Ethnoplants, my approach aims to promote respect for original cultures, perpetuate botanical research, and document the diversity of plant species for collectors.

Shamanism, Myths, and Plant Heritage

Beyond their simple horticultural aesthetics, certain plants occupy a singular place in the collective imagination and the history of civilizations.
For millennia, human societies have maintained a symbolic relationship with the plant world.

Spirituality and Ancient Rituals

In many traditions across the globe, these plants were at the center of practices guided by spiritual figures (shamans, sages, or healers).
This approach viewed nature as an interconnected whole, creating a bridge between Man, his environment, and his spirituality.
Travel accounts and anthropological works abound with descriptions of these ancient rituals.

The Mystery of Collection Plants

The history of science and folklore is also punctuated by legends attached to plants called "magic" or mystical. Associated in turn with ancient folklore, herbalists of the past, or esoteric traditions, they fascinate through their history.

Today, these ethnobotanical seeds and plants attract collectors for their rarity, distant geographical origin, and the unique historical charge they carry.
