Who am I? The soul behind Ethnoplants
From Alpine stone to ancestral wisdom
Hello, my name is Julien. Settled in the heart of the Haute-Savoie mountains since my childhood, I cultivate much more than just plants: I cultivate a philosophy of the living.

A landscaper and stone mason by trade, I have always had my hands in the earth. But my true adventure began at age 16. At a time when documentation was non-existent, I learned to tame ethnobotanical plants through observation and experience. 25 years later, these "sacred" plants hold no more secrets for me.

A journey to the roots of the botanical world
My perspective was shaped far beyond our peaks. From Thailand to Venezuela, through Maasai lands and the Iban tribes of Borneo, I sought to understand the visceral bond that unites Man and Plant. There, I discovered endemic knowledge and wisdom that I strive to pass on to you today.

Ethnoplants: The alliance of Human (Ethno) and Plant (Plants)
Created in 2007, this project was born from a desire: to reconnect you with nature through rare, medicinal, or misunderstood specimens.
- 100% Natural & French-grown: In my greenhouse, there are no chemical fertilizers. I use my own compost and homemade comfrey manure.
- Heirloom Seeds: I offer over 450 varieties of untreated seeds and plants, mostly harvested by hand.
- Zero Superfluous Waste: To protect our planet, I manually recycle my packaging and do not use new plastic pots for shipping. Every package is padded with 100% recycled materials.
- More than a shop, a partnership : Every product description is the fruit of my years of observation. I update them regularly to give you the keys to successful germination. I will always be there to guide you in your gardening, even for the most demanding species.

I invite you now to explore this universe and rediscover the magic of plants.
