Orange mint, also called Mentha citrata, is a variety of mint with an orange or citrus odor.
This variety of mint is perennial and very hardy. It easily withstands strongly negative temperatures.
The growth of this variety is very impressive.
Its flowers are purple and small.
The seeds of orange mint are tiny.
This mint cultivar has leaves that give off a sweet orange smell when rubbed.
Its leaves are edible in infusions, herbal teas, sorbets or even in fruit salads.
