Curly mint is a very rare variety that has naturally crinkled leaves.
It is a perennial, very hardy and fast growing.
To be cultivated in a semi-shaded location, moist soil with a good supply of potting soil.
Its flowering is purple and takes place in summer.
Its seeds are tiny and usually remain in the flower inflorescence.
It takes cuttings very easily in spring.
Very original species, excellent taste, rather sweet and unique.
Used in gastronomic decoration, in infusion, herbal tea or even in sorbet.
Curly mint, plant 10 to 20 cm high, delivered in a clump, containing numerous roots.
Upon receipt, plant it in a 3 liter pot of potting soil, water it well during planting then place it in a sunny location.
You can also plant it directly in the ground in the garden in a sunny area.
The best planting time is early spring or mid-fall.
