• The best period to sow common rue is from March to April.

• Bury the seeds under 3 to 4 millimetres of substrate.
• Water gently using a spray bottle.
• Place the setup in a warm and humid location at a temperature of 20°C
• Germination will typically begin about 4 to 6 weeks after sowing.
